FS Baseball goes 3-0 and advances to Championship Game

Fallon Sports Baseball has outscored their opponents 30-6 over their 3-0 run in pool play and will advance to the championship game today at 3pm. On Saturday, FS secured their first win thanks to seven runs in the third inning keyed by triples off the bat of Kai Duda (2020) and Daniel Lippert (2020), singles from Wyatt Hall (2020) and Shawn Thompson (2020 and a double by Jake Liberta (2019). On the mound, Thompson fired a seven hitter while striking out eight and walking just one.

In game two on Saturday, FS Baseball racked up 12 hits, with Hall, Liberta, and Brysen Hamilton (2020) all collecting multiple hits.
FS Baseball put up three runs in the fifth led by big RBI’s from Thompson and Carlos Grajeda (2020). Wyatt Hall was the winning pitcher, who combined with Nathan Catanach (2021) surrendering just five hits and striking out ten.
Fallon Sports Baseball totaled 14 hits in the game with Grajeda, Thompson, Duda, Catanach, Hall, and Lippert each having multiple hit games.

In game three, A six-run fourth inning led FS to an 11-1 victory on Sunday. Jake Liberta, Addis Guzman, Kai Duda, Nathan Catanach, Carlos Grajeda, and Stephen Simpson (2021) all contributed in the big inning with RBIs. Fallon Sports pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning when Guzman doubled which was followed Brysen Hamilton and Nathan Catanach RBI’s. Kai Duda and Daniel Lippert combined on the mound allowing just four hits while striking out eight. Next up is championship game at Red Mountain baseball Complex,first pitch is set for 3pm
