-Wear your showcase jersey into ball park (for first game of each day), stretch and throw in that jersey – then before game you change into the appropriate color.

2019 Tournament Guidelines

GATE OPENING: Gates open 45 minutes prior to first scheduled game of the day. Gate opening and game times can be delayed due to weather or field conditions at the City of Peoria or Tournament Director’s discretion.

DOGS: Peoria Sports Complex – must be on leash only on practice fields – No dogs allowed in Main Stadium except licensed service animals.

MINOR LEAGUE HITTING TUNNELS: On site, Peoria Sports Complex –Mariners & Padres Minor League Cages only – must wear helmets at all times

TOURNAMENT GAME ADMISSIONS: 18 & Over is $10 per day. Tournament pass may be available

FOOD AND BEVERAGES: Both food and beverages may be available at Peoria concession stands. Coolers with Filtered Drinking water will be available for players. Teams must send representative to Scout towers to pick up Water Coolers. Cups may also be available but only as supply lasts. Water Coolers will be refilled at Scout Tower also. Participants are
permitted to bring their own food and beverage (no glass). Personal Coolers are also permitted. No Alcohol.

GAME DURATION: All Games will be either seven innings or no new innings after two hours. For playoff/bracket play, additional innings will be played using International tiebreaker procedure to determine the winner, if necessary.

GAMES/FORMAT/SEEDING: Each team will have a 4 game guarantee playing 3 pool games followed by elimination and/or consolation rounds. It is the responsibility of each manager to view seed postings at the conclusion of pool play. Results will be posted on website www.azfallclassic.com on Saturday after pool play is complete. Scores may also be
found on Classic Baseball Facebook page.

OFFICIAL RULES: All games shall be played in accordance with National High School Federation rules with local modifications.

RUN RULE: The run rule in effect for all games: 12 runs after 4 innings and 8 runs after 5 innings.

EJECTIONS: Any manager, coach, player or fan ejected from a game for any reason shall leave the immediate vicinity of that game. Sight and Sound. Eligibility to return to any future game play will be determined after a meeting with the Tournament Director and/or Umpire in Chief.

E-H RULE: Extra or 10th Hitter will be allowed. Integrity of Batting Order must be maintained if EH is used

D-H (HIGH SCHOOL RULE): Shall be in effect for all age groups. This allows a designated hitter for any player in the line-up. EH and DH may be used in combination to allow for 10 hitters
